OUR SCHOOL

We study at the School for the
Deaf in Nicosia. Our school is
not very big. There are twenty-
five students at our school.
There is a Primary and Second-
ary department. We study at the
Secondary School, in Class B’
Gymnasium. We study maths, modern Greek, history,
science, drama, technology, PE, Information and Com-
puter Technology, arts, music and English. English is our
favourite subject.

We really like the teachers at our school. They teach us
very interesting things and they help us with projects,
assignments and exams. We also prepare celebrations
and special events together. Our principle is very nice
and kind to the students.

We have eight lessons a day. Our teachers also give us
homework. We like doing homework because it helps us
learn. We really like working with each other on pair
projects. We don’t like working alone.

Our school has got beautiful clas-
ses, a big sports hall, an ICT room, By
an art room, a technology room Korina Karida,
and a beautiful garden. We love Rafaela Psintrou,
studying here!
